Aurora Aksnes, known simply as Aurora, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter born in Stavanger, Norway who became famous for her unique voice and for her ethereal and evocative songs.

Aurora grew up in a family of musicians and started writing songs from a young age. At the age of 16, he attracted the attention of music producers and signed a recording contract. She officially debuted in the music world in 2015 with the single Runaway, which achieved a great international success and highlighted her distinctive musical style.

His debut album, All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend, was released in 2016 and was well received by critics. The album includes tracks such as Conqueror and Murder Song (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) that have helped consolidate its presence in the music scene.

Since then, Aurora has continued to release music that mixes elements of pop, electropop and indie pop with deep and thoughtful lyrics. Her crystalline voice and magnetic stage presence have made her one of the most fascinating and innovative artists in the contemporary pop music scene.

All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend was followed by the 2018 EP Infection of A Different Kind (Step 1) and A Different Kind of Human (Step 2). Aurora’s latest album is The Gods We Can Touch.
