Spiritbox are a heavy metal band from Victoria, British Columbia (Canada). The band was born in 2017 and consists of the spouses Mike Stringer (guitar) and Courtney LaPlante (voice), Bill Crook (bass) and Zev Rose (drums).
The band debuted in 2017 with the EP Spiritbox, recorded in a home studio, followed by Single Collection of 2017 which where released online where they got the attention of the Canadian heavy metal scene.
Spiritbox achieved the fame in 2020 with the song Holy Roller which debuted at the 25th position of the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs. Thanks to Holy Roller the band was nominated Best New Band by the readers of the magazine Kerrang!.
Spiritbox released their anticipated first album Eternal Blue in 2021. During his first week, Eternal Blue ranked on the top of the Billboard’s Top Rock Album and Hard Rock Album Chart thanks to songs like Circle With Me with more than 11 million streams on Spotify, Secret Garden, Yellowjacket featuring Sam Carter and Hurt You.
