Snow Patrol are Gary Lightbody (vocals, guitar), Nathan Connolly (guitar), Paul Wilson (bass), Jonny Quinn (drums) and Johnny McDaid (piano and guitar). The band originally from Northern Ireland was born in 1994 at the University of Dundee in Scotland. Initially known as “Shrug” and “Polarbear”, Snow Patrol debuted in the indie rock music scene with the album “Songs for Polarbears” in 1998.

Snow Patrol gained international stardom with the single “Chasing Cars”, part of the soundtrack of the TV series Grey's Anatomy. In May 2018, the Northern Irish band released the album “Wildness”, containing the songs “Don't Give In”, “Life On Earth”, “What if This is All the Love You Ever Get?” and “Empress.”

Snow Patrol are a critically acclaimed band that sold 15 million copies worldwide (over 1 billion streams), were given 5 Platinum albums in the UK and received several Grammy, BRIT Awards and Mercury Music Prize nominations.

The frontman and singer Gary Lightbody collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Biffy Clyro and One Direction and is also known for his side project, the supergroup “Tired Pony”, along with the members of Belle and Sebastian and R.E.M.
