Simple Plan are an iconic pop-punk band of the new millennium.

Formed in Montreal in 1999, they have sold 10 million albums worldwide, winning several Juno Awards and in 2010 they also performed at the Winter Olympics. More recently, they launched the ubiquitous #ImJustAKid challenge on TikTok that generated over 3.4 million videos, including those of Hilary Duff, Ed Sheeran, Usher and Venus and Serena Williams.

But most importantly, they have never lost touch with what really matters: their audience. "We feel so lucky to have fans who love our old and new material," says drummer Chuck Comeau. "We are very proud of our past, but even more excited about the future. We always feel like we are 3 minutes away from the best or greatest song of our career".

This ambition is fully exposed in the band’s sixth studio album, HARDER THAN IT LOOKS. First self-produced album by Comeau, singer Pierre Bouvier and guitarists Sébastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco, the album respects the historical career of Simple Plan and at the same time pushes forward in new ways, with songs like The Antidote, Ruin My Life (featuring Deryck Whibley), Congratulations, Wake Me Up (When This Nightmare’s Over) and Iconic, destined to remain among the favorites of the fans for years to come.
