The Shock Wave Festival was born in the summer of 2019 from the dream of turning the music that the organizers listened to on a daily basis into a live reality. A concert, yes, but not only. An immersive experience in which to live the event not only thanks to the music but also to the context that surrounds it

Thanks to the support of the municipality of Francavilla al Mare, Rkomi and Ghemon will perform in Piazza Sirena, as well as some emerging artists. The Shock Wave Festival, for a few days, changes the face and sound of the city, repopulating it with young people and gathering tourists and residents around the event.

Covid-19, as well as the life of every person on this Earth, overwhelms the world of live performances, nightlife and festivals, and the Shock Wave is no exception. The biennium 2020-2021 is marked by doubts and uncertainties, hopes and illusions, in a situation totally dependent on the trend of pandemic numbers.

The year 2022 is the year of rebirth. It is finally possible to go back to singing, dancing and having fun at a festival, with no worries, picking up the thread where it left off. As a sign of restart, Year Zero is the tagline of the Shock Wave Festival which, like the phoenix, from its ashes has been reborn renewed by the girls and boys of the Futura social promotion association.

The most important new feature of the second edition is the location, which moves from the center to the south of the city. On the beach of Lungomare Tosti, in the southern part of the city, the suitable place to accommodate a larger number of people.

Ariete, Coez, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari and Tommaso Paradiso were the protagonists of four goose-bump days, where the Shock Wave people did not stop for a second to dance and get excited to the rhythm of the music of four formidable artists.

the Shock Wave Festival returns in 2023 with a sort of intergenerational journey of hip hop: starting with the legends of Article 31, then moving on to hitmaker and king of the charts Sfera Ebbasta, and ending with two young trap aces, Paky and Geolier. The sea is not only the theater of this edition, but also a way of being, made up of dreams and visions that cross the border of the horizon.In 2024, the line-up featured the likes of Salmo and Noyz Narcos, Gazelle and Gabry Ponte!
