Europe was formed in 1981 in Sweden. The band - which was initially called Force - includes Joey Tempest (vocals), John Norum (guitar) and John Leven (bass); the group manages to win a music contest in the early eighties, which allows Europe to sign a record deal.

After changing their name in Europe and making two albums at home - EUROPE and Wings Of Tomorrow - the band signed with Epic Records in a rearranged lineup.

Europe was formed in 1981 in Sweden. The band - that in 1986, Europe recorded The Final Countdown, which - along with the singles The Final Countdown and Carrie - became a huge success both in England and in the US. Two years later it was the turn of Out Of This World, while in 1991 he released Prisoners In Paradise, the last album before the breakup.

Europe meet again in 2003 when - in the original line-up - Start from the Dark is released, followed by Secret Society of 2006. The next album, Last Look at Eden, was released in September 2009. 2012 saw the release of a new album, Bag of Bones. In 2015 the band released War Of Kings.

The latest album by Europe is Walk The Earth, released in 2017.
