The winner of the Sanremo Music Festival of 2020 Antonio Diodato started his musical career in Sweden, singing on the song Libiri, a stunning of the word Liberi, produced by Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello (Swedish House Mafia).
In competition with Babilonia among the new proposals of Sanremo 2014, the singer-songwriter of Taranto ranked second after Rocco Hunt and, subsequently, has released a new version of the debut album of 2013 E forse sono pazzo, containing the single Drunk.
In 2018, Diodato returned to the stage of the Ariston Theatre with the new Ora with trumpeter Roy Paci, while in the evening dedicated to duets he welcomed rapper Ghemon as a special guest of the song in the race.
In 2020 Diodato triumphed at the Sanremo Festival with the song Fai rumore.
In the same year, Diodato excited the audience of the Eurovision Song Contest by echoing in the empty and silent Arena of Verona Make noise and In blue painted blue.
In 2023 Diodato released the album Così speciale.
The author of Un'altra estate counts among his awards the Best Artist of the Year by Deezer; Best New Generation at the MTV Awards 2014; the De André Award for its excellent reinterpretation of Love Come, Love Go of the Genoese singer-songwriter; Mia Martini Critics' Award and Lucio Dalla Press Room Award for Fai Rumore and David di Donatello for the best original song for Che vita meravigliosa.
Diodato in 2024 returned to the Sanremo Festival, where he participated with the song Ti muovi.
In May of the same year, he organised his first tour outside Europe, with a series of concerts in several cities in Brazil, including Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Jundiaí and São Paulo. On 28 June, the unreleased track Molto amore was released, whose video clip was recorded during the Brazilian tour.
The singer-songwriter's latest album Ho Acceso Un FUoco was released in 2024.
