About

Ben Harper can cover a range of music genres and addresses both personal and political topics with great sensibility through his music. The Claremont-native songwriter has been described by Rolling Stone as an inheritor and improves upon his influences with a few jewels of unique and exquisitely tender rock & roll. Entertainment Weekly praised Harper’s depth, while Billboard claimed that his music reminds us of the power and beauty of simplicity.

Ben Harper released 18 studio albums: Pleasure and Pain (1992), Welcome to the Cruel World (1994), Fight for Your Mind (1995), The Will to Live (1997), Burn to Shine (1999), Diamonds on the Inside (2003), There Will Be a Light (2004), Both Sides of the Gun (2006), Lifeline (2007), White Lies for Dark Times (2009), Give Till It's Gone (2011), Get Up!
