Baby Gang, stage name of Zaccaria Mouhib, is the most listened Italian rapper abroad on Spotify. His music in these years has climbed the charts of over 30 countries with more than 1.5 billion streams in total.

Born in Lecco on 26 June 2001 to immigrant parents, originally from Morocco, at the age of 11 he left his family so as not to burden the difficult economic situation but clashed with the strong prejudices of today’s society towards his origins. Growing up on the road without a safe place to sleep and without reference figures sometimes leads him to go against the law, until he discovers he has a voice that is not ignored, thanks to music.

His first song, Street, released on YouTube at the age of 17, achieved unexpected success. Baby Gang begins to believe in his artistic abilities, thanks to the help of don Claudio Burgio of the Kayros association, and begins a new phase of his life. What will remain constant, in his climb to the rankings, will be his social and political choice to sing proudly about his origins and the difficulties he experienced.

With his music he is the spokesman for the second generation Italian youth, who grew up on the street but with the idea of building a better future in which there is respect and equality.

Baby Gang, just 22 years old, has over 6.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, has over 2.2 million followers on Instagram and 1.5 million subscribers to the YouTube channel, where it totaled over 650 million views overall. He is in the top 10 most listened Italians in the world. In less than three years he has collected 2 platinum records (Lei with Bené and Paradiso Artificiale with Tedua and Kid Yugi), and two albums, DELINQUENTE (2021) and INNOCENTE (2023) all 4 certified gold. INNOCENTE is out with the new label he founded No Parla Tanto Records/Warner Music Italy.

Among his most well-known hits was Casablanca in 2021 with 40 million views on YouTube and 68 million listenings on Spotify and Mentalité in 2022 with 77 million views on YouTube and 87 million streams on Spotify, which entered Spotify’s Viral in over 15 countries.
