In 2025, Simply Red celebrate their 40th anniversary. To mark this impressive milestone, the band will embark on a tour, telling the musical story of Simply Red from the beginning until now – from “Picture Book” to “Time.”

Few bands have enjoyed the success and longevity of Simply Red. With over 60 million albums sold worldwide, five UK number 1 albums, 1.8 billion streams on streaming platforms across the globe, and over 1 million YouTube subscribers, Simply Red remain one of the most beloved and successful bands. Their 1991 classic album Stars was the best-selling album in the UK and Europe for two consecutive years, and all 13 of Simply Red's studio albums, including their latest release Time, have entered the UK Top 10.

Mick Hucknall formed Simply Red in 1985 in working-class Manchester, gaining early success with the debut single "Money's Too Tight To Mention" and the album Picture Book, which earned a Brit Award nomination (the first of 13 nominations and 3 wins at the Brit Awards). This was followed by a decade of superstardom and global hits. Today, Simply Red continue to sell out tours worldwide, and their live performances are renowned for their exceptional quality, with Mick Hucknall long established as one of the great vocalists in contemporary music.
