About
Mumford & Sons, the folk-rock group from London, is one of the best bands in the world. Mumford & Sons are Ben Lovett, Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane and Winston Marshall and released four albums, “Sigh No More” (2009), “Babel” (2012), “Wilder Mind” (2015) and “Delta” (2018). In addition to ranking first on the UK Album Chart and Billboard Chart in the USA and selling over a million copies worldwide in its release week, “Babel” was awarded the Grammy for “Album of the Year” at the Grammy Awards 2013.
“Delta”, released on November, 16 2018, was preceded by the hectic-paced single “Guiding Light.” “Delta”, which marked Mumford & Sons’ return to the music scene, is an extremely experimental album that combines the intimacy and euphoria of “Sigh No More” and “Babel” with the dynamic and intensity of “Wilder Mind.” The record features the most introspective, reflective and genuine songs of the band, both in terms of lyrics and arrangements.
Three years after the last sold out concert in Italy, Mumford & Sons performed on April, 29 2019 at Mediolanum Forum in Assago, Milan, for an overwhelming sold out concert. The “Delta Tour” was the opportunity to celebrate the first ten years of activity of the band. In 2019, in fact, Mumford & Sons celebrated the tenth anniversary of their debut album “Sigh No More.”
