Tra le band simbolo di una corrente del rock anni Novanta che ancora oggi risuona nelle orecchie dei fan, i Crash Test Dummies tornano in tour per celebrare il trentesimo anniversario dell’album God Shuffled His Feet, nominato a 3 Grammy Awards e certificato platino, che li ha portati al successo grazie a Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm e Afternoons & Coffeespoons.
Nel 2018 la band era tornata on the road per la prima volta in vent’anni con un tour dedicato all’album di debutto The Ghosts That Haunt Me, e il successo delle date statunitensi aveva fatto sì che gli show proseguissero anche in Europa. Il frontman Brad Roberts dichiara: “Ripartire in tour non era qualcosa che avevamo pianificato, ma sorprendentemente – almeno per me – c’è un sacco di gente che a distanza di tanti anni vuole ancora venire a sentirci. Chi viene ai nostri show ci racconta le proprie storie, alcune molto divertenti, altre molto oscure, e tutte molto personali. È stupendo aver conquistato così tante persone, e questo ci ha ispirati a continuare coi tour e a fare musica”.
